     Today we planted seeds!!! We also planted flowers around in our yard.

Kid Logic Friday

 Someone was playing with their food -  here's Broccoli Lion

Mom asked Older Child to pick up 2 gallons of milk at the store for her.  Older Child goes to store.  Then Older Child calls mom to say, "They don't have 2 gallons of milk, they only have one."


"What do you mean they only have one?  There's only one container of milk on the entire shelf?"


"No, there's lots, but they are only 1 gallon..."


Mom starts laughing, figures Older Child has been out of school too long, and gives Older Child a quick review in math.


 "Buy two of the one gallon containers then you will have 2 gallons of milk!"

Typical Friday night these days:

"What should we watch?" 

"Let's watch __________!"

"Naw, we've seen that too many times." 

"We could watch _____________."

"That one's for girls!"  (yes, the girls are very much out numbered in our family)

"How about ______________?!"

"No, that one isn't for everybody."

Ok, what about __________?"

"Nawww,"           "Not that one,"               "No way!"




Everyone sits for a few minutes saying nothing...........


Let's just forget it!  

We could all play a game of King Elephant
